Kalibon Morisosum Gompa (26/10/2012)

Visit to the Morisosum monastery above the village Kalibon. Due to structural damage, there is need for renovation. Support of the construction of new staves.

Due to intense rainfall and central supports that were not ideally secured, two staves in the middle part of the building tipped and the roof partially collapsed. After discussions with the gompa committee and the abbot of the monastery we decided to contribute to the restoration, so that they can perform rituals as soon as possible and the new abbot can live there again.
