20th Anniversary Celebration and General Assembly 2018 (29/01/2018)

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Tapriza School our school manager Semduk Lama is visiting Switzerland. So, we decided to hold our General Assembly earlier than usual in March this year. We will discuss the agenda items below and report on the current developments and the supported side projects. As an alternative to the usual newsletter, you will have the opportunity to talk directly with our school manager.
Then we would like to celebrate our anniversary together with you. Beginning at 7.30 pm you can attend a Bon ritual for the “long life” of the school with the monk Geshe Lodoe Tsukpü from Dolpo. We invite you to Tibetan momo (filled dumplings) by Tenz. Afterwards Semduk Lama and Marietta Kind give a presentation in pictures about the last 20 years of the school and projects.
In the anniversary year, our partners Bergfrau and Destination Dolpo are organising two trekking tours to Dolpo and the school – a unique opportunity (see flyer). The documentary by Lou Dörig about the Tapriza School is now available online (tapriza.org / gallery / films).

3.Confirmation of the amendment to statutes of June 30, 2017: The General Assembly of June 30, 2017, unanimously approved the amendment of the Tapriza NGO’s statutes by a 100% vote in favour. At the subsequent written inquiry 63 votes were in favour and one against the amendment of the statutes as approved by the General Assembly. Since the 64 votes cast do not make up 2/3 of the members (190), the amendment of the statutes should be confirmed again by 2018 General Assembly.
