RUDRA BAND
The internationally renowned folk, classic and fusion musicians from Kathmandu: Shyam Nepali, Sarangi (Himalaya fiddle), Babu Raja Maharjan, Tabla and Madal, Raman Maharjan, Bansuri flute. The Rudra Band plays with Cornelius Buser, Guitar and Charango, Pedi Sterchi, Percussion and Thomas Bertschi, Murchunga (jaw harp), from Switzerland.

IMAGINE RAINBOW – a culture bridge
Through the societal circumstances in Nepal, many children loose their cultural roots and hence an important part of their identity. The culture bridge wants to give children a voice through music and art – a chance to sustain their rich culture.

The proceeds from the benefit event, the concerts and the sales of DVD/CDs are utilised for cultural projects. The culture bridge initiates and pays music lessons for children, buys instruments and offers practice rooms.
