Supporting monasteries and shrines (25/05/2021)

Thegchen Rabgyeling Monastery in Pumer was in a very poor condition. Its roof was leaking and the monastery committee did not have enough financial means to carry out sustainable repairs. With a financial contribution we made it possible to buy the necessary materials, while villagers volunteered their labour.

We also supported the Yungdrung Droduling Monastery and its school in Hurikot, the Monrisosum Monastery in Kalibon in its construction and operation, and the village initiative to repaint some of the village shrines in Ringmo (Tibetan: chörten, Sanskrit: stupa).
